centuries ago, there was a bright-eyed shinigami who held the confidence and esteem of her peers. she wasn't a once in a generation prodigy. but through hard work and persistence, she was able to climb the ranks within the gotei thirteen, eventually reaching the position of vice captain of the first division. she was kind to everyone, always willing to lend aid to others. she was a guiding hand for the inexperienced and a teacher to many more.

everything was so that she could make the world a better place for her younger brother. a blind child who had to fend for himself within the downtrodden districts of rukongai. she had become a shinigami in the hopes that earning prestige could afford him better opportunities than living in the slums. being adopted into one of the noble houses was the greatest news for her. because she would be able to provide for her sibling.

one day, however, a hollow outbreak occurred within the rukongai. she ran to the scene as quickly as her legs would carry her. and when she arrived, she saw the dismantled houses and the lifeless bodies strewn about. blood stained the ground and the roars of the hollows rang in the air. she searched frantically for her brother, praying that he was still alive.

opening the door to her old home, a menacing arm lashed out from behind. the stench of death hit her nose and the anger swelled within her. everything is a blur to her from there. fragments of memories remained, of her blade plunging through the head of the insidious creature. of her brother's body cradled in her embrace as the tears streamed down her face. of him asking with feeble voice where his sister was, how he wanted to see her. of her begging him to wake up. of the regret that overwhelmed her. she had tried so hard to provide for him that she had forgotten to spend any time with him at all. and now it was too late.

overwhelmed by despair, she stepped outside of her empty house. her eyes listlessly wandered, slowly making her way over to the creatures that continued to wreak havoc. one of them noticed her, mouth agape as it rushed towards her. she offered no resistance, her arms at her side. there wasn't any pain to feel when the teeth sank into her flesh and crushed her bones. and the world went black.

CERO OSCURAS: the most powerful of the cero variants, known and used by only the strongest among the espada. it has a vast range and massive capacity for destruction. regardless of the user's reiatsu signature, it is fired as a devastating wave of pitch black.

GRAN REY CERO: by mixing their own blood with their cero, an arrancar can unleash a cero with greater attack power and speed. its power is immense enough to disturb the fabric of space as it travels.

GEMELOS SONÍDO: increasing the speed at which sonído is performed as well as the number of steps allows afterimages to be created. the afterimages are realistic and almost clone-like, capable of bleeding when wounded.

HIGH-SPEED REGENERATION: some arrancar elect to maintain their high-speed regeneration instead of attaining greater power. wounds on the body and lost limbs are healed within extremely short periods of time. internal organs, however, cannot be regenerated.

in its sealed state, helel's zanpakutō, caída, takes on the form of an ordinary sword. it has no guard and the sheath and handle are of a dark lapis hue.

the release phrase for caída is "descend" in reference to the descent of a fallen angel from the kingdom of heaven. in order to release her zanpakutō, helel turns her blade to her own body, impaling herself upon it while calling out its release command. her sword will then begin to emanate a bright light before a torrent of spiritual power is released.

her form shifts into a more grotesque one, a bone-like carapace covering her torso and arms. the carapace armor takes the shape of a sternum, rib cage, and the frame of her arms and hands. from her back sprouts a menacing pair of skeletal wings. her lower body has a similar encasing but it is form-fitting instead.

LUCERO DEL ALBA: helel's most powerful and signature attack. concentrating a vast amount of spiritual energy into the palm of her hand, she closes her fist while condensing it all, rays of light escaping from the crevices between her fingers. once prepared, she hurls it at the target, after which it will burst and expand into a mass of destructive energy.

PARAÍSO PERDIDO: channeling spiritual energy into her wings, helel unfurls them and unleashes blades of light from each of the feathers. they can be manipulated and she generally uses them to either converge on the target or rains them down upon an area for mass destruction.

PORTADOR DE LA LUZ: placing both hands in front of her, helel creates a sphere of spiritual pressure as she continues to pour her energy into it. once it expands a sufficient amount, she fires it, sending off a massive stream of spiritual energy.
